Easy Steps to fix Epson Printer Error code E-01

Step 1 – Unplug the Power Cable

1.   Initially, turn off the printer to separate the power cable from the wall outlet for a minimum of 5 minutes.

2.     Then Power on the printer to perform a suitable check whether this issue persists or not.

Step 2 – Work with Transportation Lock

As per instructions provided by Epson Printer Support engineers, the transportation lock removal is necessary to perform. Confirm to carefully store the transportation lock.

Step 3 – Work with the CD tray

In the case, the CD tray is in the eject position then confirm that you have pressed the CD tray button to drawback it to its storage position. Be careful with the tray, not push or even pull the CD tray into different position. Turn off the printer to confirm that the paper is not at all jammed inside the unit section.

Step 4 – Dismantling the Epson Printer

If the cartridge is not running then get access to the cartridge loading area and move it away from the stop. Just dismantle the printer and clean up the entire optical sensors, encoder strip, paper feed sensors as well as disc encoder.
